Our Mission"The Wildlife Conservation Enforcement Fund, Inc., (WCEF), is serving the field level conservation officer by providing means that will enable officers to perform their duties in a more effective and safe manner. Our goal is to attain equipment for the officers which would not otherwise be available to them."
Achievements to DateOur latest purchase for conservation enforcement, two decoy deer, one of which is remote-controlled, has been a great success. The decoys have been used in Garrett County to catch a couple long-time outlaws who we have been trying to catch for years. It is hard to say how many "real" deer have been saved by the apprehension of these two guys alone. Thanks to all the officers who participated, and to all those who donated to help purchase the decoys. WCEF is proud to announce that, thanks to a generous donation from The American Kennel Club, we were able to support the Natural Resources Police Canine Program for several years. We have run out of money to fund this initiative. If you want to help reestablish this program please contact me at our toll free number above.
